I started  in 1960. Singing
at Towyn Holiday Camp, North Wales. I was learning to play guitar even then.
I had my own Banjo & Guitar.

I decided to try my voice out with these two
guys I met on holiday at the time. We won the contest !

So that left me
wanting a life on stage !(In fact I new this well before then !)

In school in 1962, we started a group called "The Echoes".

We changed our name to "The
Limits" in 1963.

In 1964, We had Electric Guitars, Amps, etc, And started gigging around Mid Wales.  We also wrote songs, and played a few gigs at our
school.

I joined The Heart N Soul. in 1967.

They were all older than me. So I learned a bit more about being on the road. We were the support band to all the top groups that came to Newtown in
Mid Wales (My  home town.) from 1967 to 1969.

We even supported The Swinging Blue Jeans
there in 1967!!
